A fire detection system is installed to detect if smoke or fire is present and to alert people using visual and audio equipment. These alerts are activated via smoke or heat detectors, aswell as manual call devices installed throughout the field. 

Addressible detection systems provide an individual address per field device with an explanation of location and type of alarm or fault. This information is connected to the Fire Indicator Panel

Conventional detection systems provide an alarm or fault at the Fire Indicator Panel providing the area of which the alarm or fault has occured
